O&M (Operation and Maintenance) data preparation is a crucial phase in the implementation of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), either a specialized system such as Coswin or bluebee® or the Plant Maintenance (PM) module of the corporate ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) such as SAP.

Siveco China and Schaeffler’s Industry 4.0 team established a partnership in China in early 2020. At the time, Siveco China hoped to expand its Smart O&M ecological system to help clients optimize the lifecycle of their assets and ensure regulatory compliance using IT. Schaeffler, on the other hand, was actively shaping digital transformation and the connection of components and systems to boost the efficiency of machines and facilities.

Organica (www.organicawater.com), a global provider of innovative wastewater treatment solutions, and Siveco China, a pioneer of Smart O&M with a long presence in the Chinese water market, have launched a partnership to deliver Digital Twin solutions for the Operation & Maintenance of wastewater treatment plants.

In 2017, Siveco started working with smart glasses supplier LLVISION at the bluebee® lab in Shanghai, aiming to develop wearable solutions that would make use of the glasses true ergonomic design and edge computing capability, for Operation & Maintenance purposes. This led in early 2019 to the first release of bluebee® for smart glasses, a standard plug-in for the bluebee® maintenance and inspection app, already widely used among Siveco customers. The functionalities are automatically enabled when the mobile phone detects the presence of the glasses. In response to growing demand for Maintenance 4.0 solutions in the aerospace industry in Asia, Siveco has joined forces with TB Solutions, a boutique consulting firm serving aerospace clients all over the region. What we currently observe is that the most forward-looking companies will take advantage of this crisis to streamline those expensive 4.0 program in order to derive more practical and short-term benefits.

On September 5, Siveco and partner Beijing LLVISION Technology attended the Industrial IoT Innovation Summit in Shanghai, an event focused on exploring solutions to advance IoT capabilities and digital transformation.
