Aerospace expertise & 4.0 solutions for plant maintenance in Asia

In response to growing demand for Maintenance 4.0 solutions in the aerospace industry in Asia, Siveco has joined forces with TB Solutions, a boutique consulting firm serving aerospace clients all over the region.

According to Siveco’s Managing Director Bruno Lhopiteau: “In this time of worldwide sanitary crisis, the aerospace sector is facing immense challenges. In the past few years, massive digitization programs have been initiated by aircraft manufacturers and their suppliers, often multi-year plans involving global consulting firms and large-scale building of an IoT infrastructure. What we currently observe is that the most forward-looking companies will take advantage of this crisis to streamline those expensive 4.0 program in order to derive more practical and short-term benefits. Siveco is uniquely positioned in this market thanks to its Chinese experience of efficient digitization and its ISO 55000-driven approach to bring industrial benefits through Smart O&M. TB Solutions complement our strength with deep domain expertise in aerospace.”

TB Solutions brings its principals 15 years’ experience in the regional aerospace market, in-depth knowledge of the industry and its business practices. TB Solutions services around the Industry 4.0 concept include:

Consultancy services (strategy, business development, training, coaching, project management)
Advanced 4.0 expertise (software solutions, services)
Special equipment (sourcing and project management services)

With its main office located in Taichung City on Taiwan Island, TB Solutions also aims at bridging the gap between businesses from Taiwan and the world.

According to Thibaud Brunel of TB Solutions: “Airlines are known for their excellence in the field of maintenance, which translate into stringent manufacturing requirements for their suppliers. The maintenance of aerospace manufacturing plants is, on the other hand, often managed using paper-bases systems or mix of ERP system, Excel and Access databases and paper work orders. Most Smart Manufacturing programs only add a layer of complexity. Together with Siveco, TB Solutions has identified the potential for quick improvement thanks to practical 4.0 solutions.”

TB Solutions joined Siveco’s Value Added Partner Program (VAPP) in 2018. The partnership allows both companies to expand their market share by combining their very complementary offerings, with a strong focus on aerospace manufacturers, drawing on both companies’ strengths and track record in the industry. TB Solutions’ footprint in Taiwan will also help Siveco develop its business with public infrastructures and industrial clients on the island.

From the early stage of the projects (typically during the sales process from the initial “assessment” phase), TB Solutions and Siveco teams work in an integrated manner to deliver Maintenance 4.0 solutions to our client. Depending on the client’s preferences, the contract can be signed either with TB Solutions or with Siveco.
